The gift of Loving Kindness

This candle massage meditation is based on the mindfulness practice of loving kindness.

Done regularly, this meditation can foster feelings of compassion for yourself and others. 

It is not necessary to try to evoke feelings during the meditation. In fact, striving and expectations are counter productive. 

It is more likely that you will notice an increase in how connected you feel to others and your general happiness as you go through your day.

Focusing on your positive attributes will set a signal for your mind to show you more of what you are good at as well as reducing unhelpful self-criticism.
