Body Image

Body image is how we think and feel about ourselves physically, and how we see ourselves when we look in the mirror or picture ourselves in our mind’s eye. It involves thoughts, feelings and perception of the aesthetics or attractiveness of your own body, which can change as you move through adolescence and adulthood, experiencing the workplace, relationships, pregnancy and ageing. Advertising and social media can sometimes play a major role in poor body image.


Dissatisfaction with body image can lead to feelings of anxiety and depression, psychological stress and sometimes eating disorders, whereas positive body image has been linked to a better overall feeling of wellbeing and improved quality of life. Through hypnotherapy, mindfulness and NLP, I can help to achieve a better perception of your body image, feel confident and comfortable in your own skin and better enjoy life and relationships.
